Your Guide to Rehab: Why it’s necessary and why it could save your life.

Castle Craig is one of the largest rehab centres in the UK

Individual and group psychotherapy is a cornerstone of rehab treatment at Castle Craig.  Special attention is given to each individual and their unique circumstances.  Through individual and group therapy the team of trained therapists at Castle Craig is able to pinpoint and address the root causes of addiction, leading to effective and sustained recovery.

Individual Therapy

Individual therapy gives patients the chance to speak in complete privacy and confidentiality with a trained specialist therapist.  Many of the therapists have been through recovery themselves and naturally use a discreet and sensitive approach with patients, encouraging them to talk about matters they may find difficult to share.

Group Therapy

Group sessions with 8-10 patients are led by a trained therapist twice a day.  Patients work together, confront each other, empathise, support, and see positive changes in each other. Group therapy enhances self-awareness and insight through the shared experiences and openness of other group members. Other addictions such as gambling are addressed in group therapy.
