Short stay rehab: what’s involved?

Castle Craig Hospital is located in the stunning countryside of the Scottish Borders, just 40 minutes’ drive from Edinburgh

At £12,000 – just £2,000 a week – you will receive complete detoxification, treatment and aftercare package which is tailored to your individual needs and situation.

This flexible part-residential-part-online is the only one of its kind and one of the most affordable ways to receive some of the best addiction recovery care in the UK.

The PRO-Pathway includes:

A step-by-step guide to low-cost rehab

Step 1: Assessment

You begin your PRO-Pathway to recovery with 3 weeks in a residential rehab with the latest and highest-quality facilities, medical staff and treatment programmes in the UK.

The very first step will be to undergo a complete biopsychosocial assessment.

You receive a specific diagnosis and tailored treatment plan

First, you will receive a complete biopsychosocial assessment.

This means that one of our medical consultants will ask you about your chronology of substance abuse, behaviour history, assess your physical and psychological state, identify your specific needs and problems as well as your personal goals and objectives.

Benefits of inpatient treatment.

Your assessment with a consultant will allow us to very specifically define and diagnose your mental health and addiction problems and tailor a programme that is targeting those individual needs.

This is something that regular GPs or Doctors cannot do.

We have access to the UK’s leading consultants. Just take a look here.

Step 2: The detoxification process

safe rehab treatments

You will detox in a very comfortable double en-suite room during your first week, and, depending on your condition, you will be introduced to individual and group therapy when you are ready.

We are COVID secure.

When you arrive, and during the first week, you will take 2 Coronavirus tests and undergo a short isolation period during your detox.

However, do not worry – you will have an internet connection, as well as 24/7 medical monitoring and therapeutic care.

This will ensure that your detox process is safe and as comfortable as possible.

See our team of addiction specialists.

The detox process allows your body to recover and for you to regain sobriety before you enter into the next stage of the treatment programme.

Step 3: 21 Days in Residential Rehab

Following your detox, you will be immersed in the next stages of recovery, which include 12-Step programmes, CBT and MET therapies, individual and group therapy.

You will also have access to all other complementary therapies such as experiential therapy and holistic therapy during this time to aid you on your road to recovery.

Our inpatient programme is all-inclusive – full board, fitness and wellness, intensive therapeutic programme, medical care, meals and access to leading consultants. All in a 50-acre beautiful private estate.

Step 4: 21 days Online Programme

Once you have completed the inpatient programme, you will continue your online therapy at home.

Online therapy includes:

Our digital therapy helps you to keep connected in your early recovery, providing you access to experienced addiction therapists., and clinicians from the comfort of your home.

There are many ways to pay for and fund your low-cost rehab treatment. Read more here.

Is the PRO-Pathway right for me?

The typical length of stay at a residential rehab is 5 weeks.

This helps to ensure long-term recovery, a lower chance of relapse, and the best outcome for the individual.

Because this PRO Pathway low-cost rehab treatment only involves a 3-week stay at residential rehab, we can’t offer the programme to people with clinically complex issues that require a longer-term treatment solution.

The programme is suitable for people with:

  • A stable home and working life
  • Familial support in place to help you through therapy
  • A limited budget, but in need of high-quality care
  • Limited time available for treatment due to care or work commitments

We offer fully-integrated residential rehab programmes too, so if you are struggling with a complex issue, then please do not hesitate to get in touch with us on 0808 1150 446.

FREE pre-admissions assessment

During the pre-admission assessment, you will be asked a series of questions by our addiction specialists that will be able to assess whether this is a good option for you.
